How to manage the user Rate per hour & the Matter rate?

Objective

• Change User rates in a particular Matter

Steps

In App4legal You can change the user rate for a particular Matter. The settings tab is used to define the User Rate per Hour.

This is a way to specify the rate that we will use for this matter. The rate can be applied on the matter or for a specific user and then this rate that you put this will be used for the time logs.

You can change user rates by clicking on the Rate per hour, and set manual rate for a particular user. You can do that for multiple users in the same time. You can add User Rate from the Action Button.

Moreover, you also have the option to set matter rate. You can do that by clicking on the Matter Rate Tab → Actions → Choose your entity and set the Rate per hour.

You also have the option to set a capping amount through the Capping Tab:

And finally you can set the Partners Percentage through the partners Percentage Tab.

Type the name of the partner, if he/she is already a contact in your Data base, when you inset the first 3 letters, the name will appear automatically, otherwise you will have to add the partner as a new contact.
