How to Delegate Contracts to Alternative Collaborators

Objectives

• Migrate Contracts awaiting approvals and signatures to alternative client portal users while the original user is out of the office.

Steps

Delegation allows collaborators to transfer existing work such as contract approvals and signatures, or future work to others during their absence. 

This can be managed from the main application, where administrators can control how work will be reassigned between client portal users during their absence.

To add a new Delegation between Client Portal users you must navigate to System Settings→ Client Portal→ Delegations

You can track all previous delegations, the ones in progress, and planned delegations, and cancel, end, or add new ones.

As a first step, select the users' names and the period of the delegation (start and end date).

Then enable/disable the delegated modules, such as Contracts & Documents Approvals or Contracts & Documents Signatures

In the following steps, you can select the contracts to delegate.

Finally, confirm and proceed with the delegation process.

Both users will receive email notifications will all the delegation details.
